Everything I need to know about social distancing I learned from M. Night Shyamalan

Social distancing may not be everyone's personal favorite, but my entire life has led to this. Don't get me wrong. I am outgoing. I can be very loud. I even love hosting parties of somewhere between twelve to fourteen people. But I'm still very much an introvert. It just takes me thirteen thousand bajillion trillion times as long to decompress and recoup from things. However, I'm related by lots of blood to lots outgoing extroverts and have made them watch A LOT of movies with me. Mostly during one of my M. Night Shyamalan-a-thons. And I have learned SO MA[...]

Women in Horror Month: Places of Interest

It's February, which for the better part of the population means the month of Valentine's Day (why a whole month for that, I dunno. Consumer holiday? I'm celebrating, so I shouldn't talk.) But for a chunk of the horror-appreciating demographic, it's also a month-long celebration of Women in the Horror industry. Death and the Robot

A delightful little film I found this week. Death watches over the dreary graveyard and inadvertently kills everything she touches with her boney hands. Robot tends to his nursery of flowers in an underground cave. When they find each other, Death is happy to have someone who doesn't die at her touch, and Robot is happy to have someone to share his garden with. When he gives her a pair of gardening gloves, it's about the cutest thing ever. Warning: bittersweet ending.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okCIHAbve3k

Horror in the News

In a quiet suburb of Hanover York County, Pennsylvania, sits a pretty little house. The difference between this one and its neighbors is this one is haunted. If you don't believe in things such as this...check out the video posted by FOX News.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRBTFdMuT7w How'd you like to live here? Would anyone stay in a house that is this violent? Me--I think I'd find a way to get the hell out[...]
