Happy 2019 everyone!
Not only does the New Year hold the promise of a fresh start for each of us personally, but it also means good things coming up in the movie theater and in books. The trend that I see is that horror…well guys, 2019 is all about it!
Not only are there quite a few remakes on their way–The Blob (yeah, I know…again) and American Werewolf in London. There is also a list of Stephen King flicks coming out this year–Firestarter, the second half of It, and Pet Cemetery. This is not the complete list of what is coming out, but it gives you just a small idea of what we can be excited about this year.
And then there are all the glorious books!
Did you love watching Stranger Things? Well, there is a book coming out!!! Stranger Things: Suspicious Minds by Gwenda Bond releases in February. Love a good ghost story? The Haunted by Danielle Vega has you covered there. And for those of us who have been dying for a fresh new vampire story…there is The Beautiful by Renée Ahdieh.
This is just a taste of what we can all look forward to this year. I can’t wait to dive in!
