Zombies, Not Just Mindless Brain-Eaters

Welcome to zombie week! I hope it’s been fun for you and no un-dead have wandered out of a cornfield to eat you for dinner. If you’re reading this, I guess you’re safe, but stay vigilant!

I have to admit that I’m not a huge zombie fan…ghosts and demons are more my jimmie-jam. Watching the un-dead saunter along the street hoping to catch and eat people never thrilled me. But I’m hopping on the zombie train because I have discovered something. Zombies can be more than mindless creatures hobbling out of the trees.

This revelation struck when I read…

Zombies, but different. A whole new look at a monster that has been around forever, but the monster had taken on more human emotions. And I thought… huh, maybe I can like zombies.

Then I read…

A collection of really cool short stories, all with a different twist on zombies. Seriously, each one brought something new, each one a unique vision.

And on TV, I found…

It’s always good to keep an open mind when traversing this place we call life. Look at all the fabulousness I might have missed out on if I had kept to my limited view of zombies. Missing all the fun would be the real horror.
