Let’s Watch a Horror Movie…The Conjuring 2

I know everyone has been waiting on the edge of their seats to learn what horror movie we will be live-tweeting this month! Well, last month watching The Conjuring was SO MUCH FUN, let’s continue with The Conjuring 2!

The 2016 horror sequel to The Conjuring written by Carey Hayes, Chad Hayes, James Wan, and David Leslie Johnson and directed by James Wan follows the Hodgson family’s experiences in the London Borough of Enfield in 1977-1979, based on the true story of The Enfield Poltergeist.

Strange things are happening in the Hodgson’s council house…

Peggy and her four children, Margaret, Janet, Billy, and Johnny need help.

The Hodgson children Margaret played by Lauren Esposito, Janet played by Madison Wolfe, Billy played by Benjamin Haigh, and Johnny played by Patrick McAuley

Janet is sleepwalking and hearing voices…and possibly possessed by dear Bill Wilkins, an old man who died in the house.

But there are bigger problems. A demon, known as the Demon Nun. (Who, I hear, is getting their own movie! *flails*)

There’s no clapping game in this movie, thank goodness, but there is a tent in the hall made from sheets where The Crooked Man lives.

Investigators Maurice Gross, played by Simon McBurney, and Anita Gregory, played by Franka Potente haven’t faced something this big and they call Ed and Lorraine Warren.

They can handle anything.

Only Lorraine has had visions of this particular demon, which predict the death of her husband. Standing in the face of fear is difficult, especially when it wants to kill you. Could you leave those kids to fight on their own?

Join me on Twitter, horror friends! Friday, February 17th at 9 EST press play and add your thoughts to #TheConjuring2.

You know you want to. We’ll have so much fun.
